Myles
Downey
Myles Downey is a coach, consultant, author and speaker whose
aim is to help others create work so that it is productive,
fulfilling and a joy.
Myles is Director of Studies at The School of Coaching in the
UK, which he established in association with The Industrial
Society, with the aim of developing the coaching capability
of senior managers and executives.
Myles has worked with some of the most successful organisations
in the Western hemisphere, across Europe, North and South America,
Asia and in the CIS. He has significant experience in a variety
of businesses, including professional service firms, banking,
manufacturing, oil and gas, brewing and distilling, retailing
and information technology.
The predominant part of his work is in coaching senior executives
and leadership teams. He is the author of Effective Coaching
(Orion), published in June 1999.
