After completing
university and a post graduate diploma in personnel management,
Frances began her career in the engineering industry, before
moving into the financial sector. Over the next 20 years, she
gained broad experience in human resource management practices
in London and across Europe. In 1999, Frances became a Fellow
of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
The majority of Frances' career was at JP Morgan. In the mid
nineties, with European responsibilities for HR for the infrastructure
businesses, she advised on all HR aspects of selling a business
and also on the creation of a 'virtual' technology company.
This involved developing and implementing change programmes
and communication strategies.
Before leaving in 1998 to pursue a career as a consultant, Frances
was a member of the JP Morgan Asset Management Committee for
London. While working extensively with the senior management
team on the re-engineering of the investment management and
private client businesses in Europe, she focused on individual
performance coaching and top team facilitation.
In 1999, Frances joined Penna Holdings, a newly established
HR consultancy firm, where she worked with the CEO on the firm's
strategic direction, new product development and led a feasibility
study for setting up an interim management business.
Frances is currently providing individual career counselling
and performance coaching. She is also giving general consulting
advice on change management programmes within the financial
sector.
Frances is studying on the Foundation Course for an MA in Psychotherapy
and Counselling.
